Nation’s Top Scout, Keith Miller Launches Showcase Football
In the Fall of 2020, the Nation’s top High School football scout will launch Showcase Football. With the high school season pushed back to the winter of 2021 in most West Coast States this event concept couldn’t come at a better time. Showcase Football was created and designed to help players learn to play the game the right way using their hands feet and body positioning to put themselves in positions to be most successful on the field. Miller shared, “In my experience as a former college and high school coach, my teams always practiced in the offseason full speed learning to use their technique and fundamentals rather than their shoulders and heads. I think getting accustomed to play that way really elevates player performance level and decreases the risk of injury.” An added bonus of participating in Showcase Football is the recruiting exposure and game simulation format. “I’ve traveled the Country for years evaluating players and there are two things I took away from the experience. First, there are great athlete's everywhere that don’t get the attention of college recruiters for whatever reason. Second, doing a bunch on 1 on 1 work doesn’t necessarily translate to becoming a great football player. Athletes need to understand scheme, leverage and situational football. Showcase Football puts players in uncomfortable situations filled with pressure to gauge their response to that pressure.” Miller has had great success in his previous tours across the Country. In 2019 he hosted 6 Hall of Fame Academy Showcases that garnered over 75 total scholarship offers in locations such as Compton, CA; Stockton, CA; Houston, TX; Dallas TX; Atlanta, GA; and Rochester, NY. In January Miller led the World Bowl National Combine in Orlando, FL where multiple high School player received scholarship offers to major Universities including, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, USC, Oregon and the list goes on. Showcase Football could be the next explosion in the prep event industry where athletes learn to perfect their craft, learn intricacies of the game, compete against the very best and play the game safely, the right way.
